We had a delightful stay in your lodge in September .Weather was a bit iffy but that didn't stop us getting out and about every day. Great walking along Hadrian's Wall and visiting the various castles and National Trust places in the area. The lodge itself was warm and comfortable and local pubs, restaurants very welcoming.

We've had a great week here. The lodge is great with everything you need and the girls adopted the conservatory as their playroom - the toybox was used everyday. Thanks for helping to make a good holiday and thanks for the wine. Rachel, Peter, Eleanor (6), Alice (4) and Granny, Greater Manchester.

We had a great time here. We loved rolling down the sand dunes. The restaurants were great! We loved the games. The house is beautiful and makes us feel at home. We hope we can come back soon. Rachel (6), Rebecca (5).

Had a great holiday at the Lodge. By far the best self-catering accommodation we've had - definitely deserves its four star rating. Loved the toys, videos, dvds, etc. Be back soon.

Had a superb week. The cottage is very comfortable. We enjoyed Alnwick Castle and gardens also Warkworth Castle. The children had a wonderful time. The highlight was the visit to the Farne Islands – wonderful - Bill Oddie wasn’t in it.

We’ve had a good week in your pleasant lodge and have much enjoyed Northumberland and especially Kielder Water, Bamburgh Castle, Holy Island and Newcastle. Thank you for the wine – my parents and grandfather enjoyed it! P.S. we hope to stay again.

Another brilliant week. Lots of fun and games on the beaches and only got rained off once! Alnwick gardens is a brilliant day out – especially all the water sculptures. The kids loved them but we should have taken at least one change of clothes! We are now all going home rested and relaxed. Thank you for a lovely stay.

The lodge is extremely comfortable and well appointed. All necessities and not a few luxuries catered for. A very enjoyable week had by the whole party and we look forward to our next visit

Immaculate, spacious cottage in a peaceful rural setting which is so near the breathtaking Northumberland coastline and National Park. Have visited twice and intend to return as soon as the opportunity arises.
